With Buzzfeed pivoting to Hollywood, Mass Appeal on Netflix, Interview folding, digital cover stories (???), and Vevo capitulating to YouTube — hard numbers for competing web publishers tell make-or-break stories. Using Google Trends, I crunched some of the biggest movements in culture right now.
