Stream Speedy Ortiz’s Twerp Verse a week early
The band has shared its new album via NPR.
Speedy Ortiz will release Twerp Verse on April 27, but NPR is streaming the band's third album ahead of time. The group, fronted by Sadie Dupuis, has released two singles from the album already, including the excellent “Lean In When I Suffer.” Speaking to The FADER about that song in particular, Dupuis said: "Ultimately, playing angry rock songs is our favorite form of therapy."
Twerp Verse was recorded at Silent Barn in Brooklyn with Carlos Hernandez and Julian Fader and produced and mixed by Mike Mogis at his studio in Omaha. Speedy Ortiz will head out on an extensive tour in support of their new album in May. You can peep all of their upcoming dates on their website.
