Hidden Figures to be adapted into TV series
The Oscar-nominated movie is reportedly being developed by National Geographic.
Hidden Figures, the 2016 movie about the true story of three black female mathematicians instrumental in the 1960s American space program, is reportedly being adapted for TV. Variety reports that National Geographic is in the early stages of developing it for television alongside the original film’s executive producers.
The film starred Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monáe and was nominated for three Oscars, including Best Picture. The movie and TV show are both based on Margot Lee Shetterly's book of the same name.
