Stormzy’s Love Island cameo is getting the recognition it deserves

Stormzy's appearance on the British reality TV show Love Island has been nominated for a BAFTA Award. The grime MC's cameo on the dating show in in contention to win the must-see moment of 2017 at next month's TV Baftas. Stormzy appeared on the show to give advice to a group of contestants ahead of a musical performance.

Other nominees for the prize include Ariana Grande for her performance at One Love Manchester concert and and a scene from Blue Planet II. The TV British Academy Television Awards take place on May 13. The rest of this year's nominations will be announced on April 4.
