Juelz Santana’s gun & drug charges to be prosecuted by federal authorities
The rapper recently pleaded not guilty to state charges.
The Associated Press reports that Juelz Santana will be prosecuted by federal authorities on gun and drug charges that the rapper incurred this past month. Santana fled from Newark Liberty Airport after a loaded .38-caliber handgun and oxycodone pills were found in his carry-on bag.
Although Santana pleaded not guilty to the state charges, they were dismissed as federal authorities took over.The New York rapper turned himself in three days after fleeing from the scene and is currently being held pending further hearings.
