Lily Allen details new album, shares two songs
Lily’s back.
British pop star Lily Allen is back with a new record. It's called No Shame, and its out on June 8th via Warner. Speaking about the record in an interview on Beats 1, Allen said "it’s the best album I can make. There haven’t been any outside sources telling me what’s right and wrong, what’s going to work for radio and what isn’t, so that’s really great. That also means when it comes out, it’s my fault."
Allen also shared two new cuts from the album, "Higher" and "Three." The former is a breezy number with some foreboding breakup lyrics, while the latter is a longing ballad, presumably written from the perspective of one of Allen's young children. A few months back, she dropped the deliciously self-referential "Trigger Bang" with Giggs. Listen to Allen's new tracks below.
