Marshmello shares video for Lil Peep collaboration “Spotlight”
The electronic producer called the video “exactly” what the late artist would have wanted.
Marshmello has released a video for his Lil Peep collaboration "Spotlight." The video is directed by Nick Koenig, who previously made the visuals for Peep's "Awful Things." Speaking about the video in a press release, EDM producer Marshmello said: “For this video I just wanted what Gus would have wanted. And I think this is exactly it.”
"Spotlight" was first released in January at the request of Lil Peep's mother, Liza Womack. Lil Peep passed away at age 21 from a fentanyl and Xanax overdose on November 15, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona.
