Watch a trailer for Nas’s Illmatic concert film with the National Symphony Orchestra

Mass Appeal has shared a trailer for Nas: Live from the Kennedy Center, a new concert film featuring the Queens rapper performing his classic album Illmatic in Washington, D.C. backed by the National Symphony Orchestra. Watch it above via Billboard. The clip shows classic footage from the beginnings of Nas's career, juxtaposed with clips of the rapper warming up and eventually performing "The World Is Yours" from Illmatic. "I hope the audience look at me like Yo, look at this kid from the hood on the stage where he belongs," Nas says in the trailer.

Nas: Live from the Kennedy Center will air February 2 on PBS.
