Sigrid tops BBC Music’s Sound Of 2018 poll
The Norwegian pop singer finished ahead of Rex Orange County and IAMDDB in the annual list.
The 2018 winner of the annual BBC Sound poll was announced this morning with Sigrid taking the title. The 21-year-old pop singer from Norway beat competition from Tyler, The Creator collaborator Rex Orange County and rising R&B artist IAMDDB in the poll, which is voted for by critics and music industry figures in the U.K, Other artists who featured on this year's longlist included Pale Waves, Khalid, and Yaeji.
Sigrid released her debut Don’t Kill My Vibe and recently dropped new single "Strangers," which features on the soundtrack to Netflix movie Bright. Previous winners of the BBC Sound poll include Adele, Sam Smith, and Ray BLK.
