Rita Ora to host 2017 MTV EMAs in London

Rita Ora has been named as host of the 2017 MTV EMAs, which this year will take place in London. Nominees for the annual awards ceremony are yet to be announced.

Ora will perform new music during the ceremony, though other acts performing remain unconfirmed. The 2017 EMAs take place at London's Wembley Arena on November 12. Last year the awards took place in Rotterdam and were hosted by Bebe Rexha. This year's ceremony marks the first time in 20 years that they have been held in London.

In other MTV News, the station rebooted its beloved TRL show this week with special guests Ed Sheeran and Migos.
