Report: Suge Knight Indicted For Threatening Straight Outta Compton Director
Knight reportedly threatened F. Gary Gray via text message.
Suge Knight has been indicted by an LA County Grand Jury for making criminal threats against Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray, TMZ reports. The violation cited on court papers obtained by Variety dates to August 8, 2014 during the shooting of the N.W.A. biopic.
The Death Row Records founder was reportedly “extremely unhappy with his portrayal in the movie” and “threatened to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury" to the director via text message. Knight is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday, August 3.
In January, 2015, Knight was arrested on murder charges following a hit-and-run incident on the set of Straight Outtta Compton. In 2014, he and comedian Katt Williams pleaded not guilty to an armed robbery in Las Vegas.
