Watch The Opening Sequence Of Flying Lotus’s Kuso

A newscaster introduces the producer’s film with some jazz.

The first two minutes and thirty seconds of Flying Lotus's debut feature film Kuso are now streaming on YouTube. In the opening sequence, a newscaster with festering boils interrupts a broadcast with a jazz number and a surreal tour of earthquake-striken Los Angeles. "Your god is from the underground," he says during the cartoonish number.

It's one of the moments in Kuso that Flying Lotus hopes won't get overshadowed by coverage of the film's nauseating content. “Despite how gross it is, there’s still a lot of art in this movie," FlyLo told The FADER.

Kuso is now streaming on Shudder.
