Amber Mark Takes Us On A Tour Through Rajasthan In “Monsoon”
The uplifting visual comes off the New York City songstress’s 3.33am EP.
Released earlier this month, Amber Mark's 3.33am EP is a touching work centering the stages of grief — “regret, anger, isolation, sadness, questioning and overcoming," she recounts. Offering fresh, uplifting melodies, the commemorative visual for "Monsoon" invites us to retrace Mark and her late mother's travels through Rajasthan, India. After her mother's passing in 2013, the vocalist hopes to uplift those going through similar processes.
"When I wrote "Monsoon," I always imagined the music video being shot in India," Mark told The FADER over email. "The song had so much to do with my time in India with my mother as well as leaving her in India during the monsoon season to visit my family in NY. It really was a dream come true when I was given the opportunity to shoot in India. "
