Feist Shares New Song “Pleasure”
It’s the first single from the Canadian artist’s new album of the same name.
Today, Canadian singer/songwriter Feist shared "Pleasure," the title track from her upcoming album. Feist's last album was 2011's Metals.
When Pleasure was announced this week, Feist described its songs as "raw." It's an apt description for the sparse self-titled track that hisses like your grandparent's AM radio. You could take it as a sibling of early records from The Kills: defined by revving guitars, but more benevolent, thanks to Feist's big, warm vocals.
Yesterday, Feist teased "Pleasure" in a series of Instagram videos, which you can watch beneath the Spotify stream of the song. Her album Pleasure is out April 28.
