WALL Shares Hypnotizing Post-Punk Track, “River Mansion”
A thriller from their first and final full-length.
WALL, killer rock group from Brooklyn, broke up last year after recording only one EP and one LP. The latter, Untitled, comes out this April 28. Premiering today is the album's second single, the narcotic closing track "River Mansion." It's a song that "was a staple of WALL's live shows," the band wrote to The FADER over email. "The storm is brewing," warns Sam York, describing a chilling dream. "And the water's rushing in/ And I'm floating down the halls." Though WALL will play no more, this recording, with York and Elizabeth Skadden's ghostly voices intertwined over creeping, psychedelic no-wave riffs, is a testament to their captivating collaboration.
