The xx’s “Say Something Loving” Video Is A Love Letter To South London
Take a sun-dappled trip through the English capital in the band’s new visuals.
The xx has shared the "Say Something Loving" video. Filmed around various parts of the south London the group calls its home, the whole thing captures a hometown pride felt most keenly by those who spend most of their time away from home. Shot by Alasdair McLellan, who also directed the video for "On Hold," the video shows video game arcades, smoke-filled raves, young skaters, brutalist architecture, and the underground station in Wandsworth. Check out the love-filled visuals above.
The xx begins a seven-night London residency on Wednesday, March 8. Guests across the run of Night + Day shows include Sampha, Kelela, Cat Power, Robyn, and Mica Levi.
