Hear Ariel Pink And Weyes Blood’s First Single From Their Collab EP, “Tears On Fire”

Ariel Pink and Weyes Blood are teaming up for an EP, Myths 002, which they'll debut as a part of Mexican Summer's Marfa Myths event January 27. Today, the duo dropped off their first single from the project, "Tears on Fire."

The song is a pretty piece of folky jangle-pop, accompanied by some soaring falsetto vocals, that follows past collabs on Pink's Mature Themes and Mild High Club's Stones Throw debut.

In related news, Mexican Summer also announced a new LP from Ariel Pink, his first since 2014's pom pom, slated to drop "sometime in 2017," according to Pitchfork. Listen to "Tears on Fire" below.
