Tina Knowles Lawson Is Taking a Break From Social Media

Tina Knowles Lawson has announced a break from social media after mistakenly liking a shady comment aimed at Jennifer Hudson. Tina, whose Instagram is a beacon of fun and the occasional Solange/Beyoncé cosplay, says she accidentally hit the like button on a comment by a user who was criticizing Hudson in a clip from the 2006 musical Dreamgirls.

Offering up her older posts as evidence, Tina said she's "not a hater" and that she "would never ever say anything negative about her [Hudson] or agree with anything negative!” She continued "I will be taking a break from social media as this is the bad side of it. There are people who make their living off of negativity."

Beyoncé, who starred in Dreamgirls alongside Hudson, and Solange possibly saw this issue coming too. “[My] children worried that I might accidentally touch something when looking at other sites and have warned me about it,” Tina added in her caption. Check out the whole post above.
