Karriem Riggins Shares “Bahia Dreamin’” And Announces New Stones Throw Release

Drummer and producer extraordinaire Karriem Riggins dropped off a brief new track "Bahia Dreamin'" today via Stones Throw. Riggins, who built his legend working on Soulquarians-era releases from J Dilla and Erykah Badu dropped his full-length debut, Alone Together through the label in 2012. He's also been making the rounds with Common recently, having played a prominent role in the making of Black America Again.

"Bahia Dreamin'" is a laid-back head trip that moves from a chopped-up sample and drum programming into warm, acoustic jazz. The track is accompanied by a quick note: "Expect a new full-length from Karriem on Stones Throw in 2017."
