MTV Announces MTV Classic, A Whole Channel Focusing On Its 90s Hits

MTV has announced that it will be replacing VH1 Classic with MTV Classic. According to The AP, The rebrand will air classic MTV titles like Beavis and Butt-head, Daria, and Total Request Live. The channel will focus on the 90s and early 2000s with marathons of favorites like The Real World and Laguna Beach. The channel will debut on August 1, which is the 35th anniversary of MTV's debut. The channel's first show will be MTV Hour One showing a rebroadcast of the network's very first hour of programming.
