Missy Elliott Joins Marc Jacobs’ Fall ‘16 Campaign
The rapper appears alongside Sissy Spacek and Genesis P-Orridge.
It's not just A$AP Rocky who you'll be seeing in glossy adverts over the coming months. Marc Jacobs has revealed Missy Elliott as one of the faces of his Fall 2016 campaign. "I am in continued awe of Missy’s ability to push the boundaries of the style of music both to the eye and to the ear. It was a dream of mine to work with her and I'm happy to share this portrait," the designer wrote on Instagram.
Jacobs' latest campaign was photographed by David Sims and also features artist Genesis P-Orridge, actress Sissy Spacek, plus John Tuite and Carlos Santolalla. "The individuals in these photographs represent a collective embodiment of love, honesty, integrity, courage, strength, curiosity and inspiration," Jacobs said of his models.
Update: Marc Jacobs has added a number of new names to his campaign including Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson and Annie Clark.
