Bobby Brackins Brings Shine To The Bay With “Faithful” Video
Featuring Ty Dolla $ign on the hook, as well as cameos by G-Eazy and Tinashe.
The Bay's very own Bobby Brackins puts shine on his hometown with his new visual for "Faithful," the opening track off his recently released EP To Live For.
Shot between San Francisco and Oakland, the flashy, Pulp Fiction-inspired video features loving shots of the Bay Bridge and local street signs, as well as cameos by recognizable locals, like G-Eazy. Also featured in the video: Tinashe, briefly, and Ty Dolla $ign, who also lends the song its achey hook.
"There aren’t too many high caliber videos that are shot in The Bay, so my goal with this was to make something special," Brackins wrote in an email to The FADER about the video, which he conceived of and co-direct himself. "I handled pretty much everything—I casted the models, I assembled the film crew, I scouted the locations, and I co-directed it. It’s 100 percent my vision. With everything I do, from my artwork, my music videos, my songs—it’s all my vision."
