A Tribe Called Quest Is Hosting “A Celebration of Phife” Event In Queens Tomorrow
To honor the passing of Phife Dawg.
On March 23, founding member of A Tribe Called Quest, Phife Dawg passed away at age 45. Since then, the music world has been posting tributes to Phife Dawg on social media.
Today, A Tribe Called Quest announced that they will be hosting an event to honor their late group mate: "A Celebration of Phife," taking place on April 4th at 10:30 a.m., at St. Albans Memorial Park in Queens, NY. Although there is not much information about what will take place during the event, the Smokin' Needles Records website hints that the first 200 attendees will receive something special.
