London Trio Vaults Get Trippy In Video For “Midnight River”
If it feels like y’u're losing control, let go.
London trio Vaults have been quietly building quite the portfolio since they first emerged in 2013 accompanied by the gossamer chimes of first single "Cry No More." Three years later, four EPs and a Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack appearance down the line, the electronic pop group have released the video for their expansive new single "Midnight River." In part inspired by the experience of taking ecstasy, the clip finds lead singer Blythe furiously dancing her way through a series of dilapidated rooms, choral chants swelling around her, before awakening from the trip to find herself on deserted pebble beach.
"It was a very special day in an extremely unique set of buildings, with a great team." Blythe told The FADER. "Such a great experience to work with the exceptional visionary director Jovan Todorovic and our fantastic choreographer Alexandra Green put me through my paces."
