Eearz Goes Hard On “Work Ya Muscle”
The EarDrummer rapper is already on The Weeknd’s party playlist, time to add him to your own.
EarDrummers rapper Eearz's "Work Ya Muscle," which premiered yesterday on Mike WiLL Made-It's SoundCloud channel, has already gotten a pretty sweet co-sign. In a spot for Apple Music that aired during last weekend's MTV Video Music Awards show, The Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye's can be seen adding it to his "XO LATE NIGHT PARTY VIBES !!" playlist, placing it in the mix with his own hit "The Hills," Fetty Wap's "679," and Future's "Fuck Up Some Commas."
"Work Ya Muscle" finds the Atlanta-based rapper alternating between a pinched, urgent flow, a throaty bellow, and the exaggerated, gnarled flow (think Rae Sremmurd/Young Thug hybrid) that makes up the song's sticky hook. Turns out the song won't actually be available on Apple Music until tomorrow, but you can listen to it below until then. Eearz's debut album Eearz To The Street is coming "sooner than later," we're told.
