WWE Might Sue Meek Mill For Sampling Undertaker’s Theme On His Drake Diss
I can’t believe it! I’ve never seen anything like this! Etc.
It has been a bad week for both the WWE and Meek Mill. Meek suffered a painful online jeering after a delayed response to Drake's diss tracks, even though "Wanna Know" presented compelling evidence of...something. The WWE, on the other hand, has seen one of its biggest stars fall to recordings of a racist tirade. So to get back on white America's good side, they're looking into legal action against a rapper.
"Wanna Know," produced by Jahlil Beats, samples the bells from the Undertaker's theme song, and the WWE aren't happy about that. "WWE takes its intellectual property rights very seriously, and we're looking into the matter," a spokesman told TMZ.
As Pitchfork reports, Bret "The Hitman Hart," a Canadian, has taken sides with Drake in the rap feud with an Instagram post. He writes: " I'm glad to see a fellow Canadian walk away with the championship gold around his waist."
In a related thing, here's Bret yelling a bunch of years ago about how much America sucks and how good Canada is. Read Meek's FADER cover story here.
