Why Not Ring In Summer With Mocky’s “Living In The Snow”?

Songwriter, producer, and frequent collaborator to the likes of Kelela, Moses Sumney, and Feist collaborator Mocky is staking out to release a solo album of his own. Key Change is out June 30, and the first single is a lovely, aseasonal ode to chillier temps called "Living In The Snow."
Written in sunny LA during a bout of nostalgia for his Canadian upbringing and featuring both tambourine and jingle bells, "Living In The Snow" is counterintuitive by design. "The song is about trusting your instincts over your rational mind, which is the act of music making," Mocky told The FADER in an email. "The clash between human and machine in 2015 is becoming more and more acute. So instinct becomes a more valuable commodity."
