Suge Knight appeared in court again yesterday on murder and attempted murder charges, and following his hearing was transported to a jail infirmary for the third time in two months.
Last month, Knight was taken to hospital twice following two court appearances, once with chest pains and again with stomach problems. Yesterday, speaking for the first time publicly since his arrest, Knight complained of weight loss as well as impaired vision, telling the judge "I can't really see...I can't really comprehend what's going on." He also spoke over Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin throughout the hearing, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Knight also informed the court that his attorney David Kenner is no longer representing him. This comes after Knight fired James E. Blatt, the first attorney to represent him following his arrest.
The rap mogul is currently being held without bail on charges of murder and attempted murder following his involvement in the death of his friend Terry Carter in a hit-and-run earlier this year. On separate charges, he is also accused of stealing a camera from an independent celebrity photographer along with comedian Katt Williams.
