“The World Cup is one of the few sports events that unites the entire world. Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to cheer on USA this summer. However, we live and breathe all things Philadelphia, so we jumped at the opportunity to create World Cup soccer jerseys that repped our city. We think we designed a jersey that shows the passion, grit and beauty of Philly.” – The Roots

“I wanted to design something that represented my city, with a classic feel to soccer attire. Alabama isn’t known for soccer, just as me making it out of Birmingham as a rapper is rare. I feel the jersey represents the unexpected, but something to be proud of.” – YBN Nahmir
