This fake Supreme fashion show in China is legendary

Supreme, whose founder James Jebbia recently took home the CFDA menswear designer of the year award, reportedly just had a large scale fashion show in China. The show came in collaboration with Chinese streetwear brand OXN, short for Old Mix New. Jebbia even reportedly stopped by to make an appearance at the high profile event

As it turns out though, the entire thing was a scam. According to The Fashion Law, the high-profile fashion show was a complete fake and was set up in attempt to fool consumers. "The runway show that OXN – short for Old Mix New – staged this week was an intricate counterfeit collection. Those “Supreme” branded wares that went down the runway were fakes," the report reads. The show's organizers even reportedly hired an actor to stand in as Jebbia.
