Jerry Seinfeld sat down with Zach Galifianakis in what was to become a widely sarcastic, pun-filled interview for Funny or Die. Appearing as a guest on Galifianakis's goofy talk show, Between The Ferns — where the host and the guest literally sit in between two ferns — Seinfeld withstood a few minutes of off-hand cracks from the host, and a brief appearance from Seinfeld cast member Wayne Knight before making way for Cardi.
Cardi was received with much more enthusiasm (and gifts), much to Seinfeld's dismay. After being removed from the guest seat and given a milk crate to sit on, Seinfeld smugly pointed out, "Boy, this a really different interview than the one I did." And to add to Seinfeld's poor interview, as Cardi gets up to exit the interview, she briefly embraces Galifianakis before completely curving Seinfeld's attempt at a goodbye hug.
