Watch Oprah and Stedman discuss running for president in this SNL sketch

“I need to get white women back on track!”

In last night's Saturday Night Live Weekend Update sketch, Leslie Jones took on the huge task of playing Oprah Winfrey as she discusses why she might run for president in 2020. Chris Redd, as Oprah's loyal partner, Stedman, was, of course, at her side agreeing with every little thing she said.

Jones, in a convincing portrayal of Oprah, said that one of the key reasons she wants to run for president is to "get white women back on track! Ever since I've been off the air, they've been outta control! They voted for Trump. They voted for Roy Moore. They kept twelve different shows of flipping houses on the air. It's a mess!" Well, she's not wrong.

Oprah was in the news recently for delivering an impassioned and empowering speech about the Times Up movement at the Golden Globes that many later praised as a marker for her to run for president in 2020. Oprah has not yet commented on whether or not she would run following the speech, however, as reported in the Washington Post, she has commented on possible presidential runs before, and declined.
