SahBabii’s “Marsupial Superstars” video is just as endearingly wild as you thought it would be

This fall, we spoke to Atlanta-based sexcapade specialist SahBabii about spirituality. During the conversation, the rising rapper talked about making one of the most sonically off-the-wall tracks of the year, “Marsupial Superstars,” which features his brother T3.

Musically, I just try to be myself. I like to rap about things that I have fun with. Sex is fun to me, people have a good time. “Marsupial Superstars,” for example — I like playing Nintendo, I just be myself. If I was in a real studio, I wouldn’t ever have made that crazy noise I made on there, because people would have been looking at me like, What the fuck is this nigga doing, acting a fool in the studio? I was just being myself. I hope people get that they can be themselves. When you just be yourself, you can unlock a lot of things.

Premiering today on The FADER is the equally endearingly deranged video for “Marsupial Superstars.” Set in a picturesque suburban neighborhood, pristine lawns and all, the video includes Sah and crew’s take on the classic “Ms. Parker” scene from Friday. Later, their world turns into a pixelated gamer universe ruled by Emojis come to life, a place where you can even play IRL Mario Kart. Watch above.
