Star Wars Episode VII: The Last Jedi is off to a strong start. Opening weekend ticket sales have come in at $220 million, making it the second largest opening of all time, following only Star Wars Episode VII. The film stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac as principal characters. Variety reports that the film is was the strongest movie going weekend of the year.
