Danny Brown’s Apple Music documentary has reportedly been shelved

Danny Brown's concert film Live At The Majestic, scheduled for release on November 7 on Apple Music, may not be released at all. As Stereogum reports, the Detroit rapper said the Andrew Cohn-directed documentary was "not coming out" during a Twitter Q&A session with fans. When asked if Live At The Majestic had been shelved, Brown responded "Pretty much," later saying that he was "really hurt by the whole situation." Read his tweets below:

Brown seemed excited about the film last week, speaking about it in an interview with Complex. "It's just something I always wanted to do, was to make a live album with a live DVD or something," he said. "It was a real humbling experience."
