Manila R&B Singer Jess Connelly Drifts Into A Hazy Daydream In “Turn Me Down” Video

Manila R&B singer and new MTV Philippines host Jess Connelly has delivered a video for her floaty track, "Turn Me Down." In the artsy visual directed by Paco Raterta, Jess appears in prismatic video installations, snapshots being burned on the ground, and a bunch of twichy animations. In an email to The FADER, Jess said "For me, this video is like a mini daydream, getaway alone with me."

The song, which was produced by her frequent collaborator Lustbass, is all about puppy love vibes. "The song is about the early stages of attraction," she said. "When you both have an idea that you are into each other but are still trying to read the situation. The feel-good-getting-to-know-you phase."
