The xx Cancel Night + Day Iceland Festival

Following the success of their Night + Day festival in England, The xx were set to take the event to Skógafoss, Iceland this July.
On Tuesday, it was announced that the festival would be canceled after Skógafoss was added to the Environment Agency of Iceland’s list of endangered areas, according to a statement from organizers that was published in The Reykjavik Grapevine.
"There is simply not enough time for the promoters to ensure that the event will have no impact at all on the site," the statement read. Tickets will be fully refunded.
Performers scheduled to perform included Earl Sweatshirt, Sampha, Kamasi Washington, and The xx themselves.
