Baton Rouge comedian and rapper MacArthur Johnson has been through several monikers already, making videos under Mighty Mike, Funny Ass Mike, and now girlhefunny. Recently, Johnson has adopted a new name that has the Internet baffled: 22 Savage.

What started as short impersonations has turned into a full-blown campaign to steal 21 Savage's identity for the sake of internet virality. Not only does the slim-faced newcomer have an uncanny resemblance to 21 Savage, 22 Savage takes on the aesthetic, demeanor, and rapping style of the Atlanta rapper in his original tracks. Currently, 22 Savage is planning on releasing his own Savage Mode mixtape.

In an interview with SOHH, 22 Savage explains that he has no qualms ripping off the 21 Savage name. "I just felt like jacking him," 22 Savage said. "I’m really a savage out here. I’m really in the slums. What people don’t understand is that underneath this funny, it’s really real. We’re in the streets. I’m a street n*gga trying to make it out anyway I can."

22's past confirms his claims, as a video of MacArthur Johnson's reported murder charges surfaced on Twitter. In the news clip, Johnson claimed "self defense" after shooting a 20 year old man during an argument over a party flyer.
